My daughter, Ronni Connelly, is manager of a county animal shelter, as well as a dog rescue, in middle Tennessee. She took over the shelter, which was known for its cruelty to animals as well as the high kill rate. She now is trying to save each and every animal that comes through its doors and has only had to euthanize one dog since taking over five months ago...and that really upset her, even though she tried to retrain the dog so that it would not be a danger to other animals or humans.
